KINGBOROUGH ANGLERS ASSOCIATION

Interested in learning about fly fishing or meeting some like-minded anglers.

Fishing clubs are a great place to learn about fly fishing, fly tying, casting or to improve your local knowledge.

The Kingborough Anglers Association was formed in 1964 and is a community focused club that has been involved in the development of fishing facilities for disabled anglers and children and has raised funds for the Fisheries Habitat Improvement Fund.  The club has an affiliation with the Southern Tasmania Licensed Anglers Association (STLAA).

Club meetings are held at 7.30pm on the last Thursday of each month (except December), at the Southern Lights Hotel (previously the Welcome Inn Function Centre,) Kingston View Drive, Kingston, Tasmania.  Many meetings feature a guest speaker or a presentation on an interesting aspect of fishing.

Club Aims and Activities:-  monthly meetings, regular field days, annual dinner, annual bbq, family day and use of Club Lodge at Bronte Lagoon.
